So you want to give Parallel a shot and become competitive, but you don’t want to risk any money or investment? Well you find the right guide where I’ll give you the exact steps on the quickest way to collect in-game cards and be ranked higher on the ladder.
1. Sign-up via Referral:
This is actually slightly underrated because a new player can earn up to 2 free AP packs just by using somebody’s referral code upon sign-up. No strings attached! If you haven’t created an account yet, use my referral link here to earn your 2 free apparition packs:

2. Download the game via Epic
When you download Parallel via Epic Games, you can link your Parallel game account and become eligible to claim a free “Creator Deck”. These decks are curated by top players and creators. A creator deck is a top tier deck containing 40 cards that allow you to be competitive on the Ranked Ladder immediately.

As of today, 9/4/24, Feno’s Universal Augencore deck is the best deck to claim.
3. Complete the Rookie Mode
After you’ve finished the incredibly interactive tutorial, you’ll be introduced to Rookie Mode. It’s a playlist where new players like yourself play head-to-head using the same standard decks (per Parallel). For each Parallel that you complete in Rookie Mode, you’ll be rewarded with:
- Unlocking 2 additional Paragons (3 in total per faction)
- 3 Basic AP Packs
- 1 AP Starter Deck
- 1 Premium AP Pack
- 1 random Legendary Card from that Parallel
So in total, when you complete all 5 levels of each 5 factions Rookie Mode, you’ll have already earned:
- All 15 Paragons
- 15 Basic AP Packs (5 cards each)
- 5 AP Starter Decks (40 cards each)
- 5 Premium AP Packs (5 cards each)
- 5 random Legendary Cards (1 from each Parallel)
That’s a grand total of 305 cards just from learning the basics of the game! 👏
4. Season Battle Pass
What’s a game without a Battle Pass? In Parallel the BP allows players to earn all sorts of goodies and rewards as they progress through different levels. It's like a progression journey where you can unlock exclusive cards, skins, packs, and more. There are two tracks: the Free Track and the Premium Track. The Free Track is, well, free for everyone to enjoy, while the Premium Track offers even more exciting rewards for those who choose to dive deeper into the Parallel universe. Fastest Way to Complete the Battle Pass
Okay, so let’s break it down. To “complete” the Battle Pass you need to make it Level 30 by the end of the month. That would take 30,000 XP because Levels 1-30 require 1,000 XP each.
The easiest and fastest way to complete the BP would be to take advantage of the XP earned via the Daily and Weekly Missions. Here’s a tip for you all:
- Complete and Claim your Daily Missions from Monday-Wednesday as you finish them.
- That’s 1,500 XP for 3 daily missions (500 XP each)
- Now when you complete Thursday-Sunday’s Daily Missions, DO NOT claim them. Wait until your Weekly Challenge is reset. Thus when you claim your 4 dailies, your Weekly Challenge can be instantly claimed.
- That’s 2,000 XP for 4 daily missions (500 XP each)
- An additional 3,000 XP for the weekly challenge
Okay, so we’re already getting 6,500 XP/week by following the model above! You’ll earn 30 AP packs from the Battle Pass alone; that’s another 150 cards for your collection 👀 That doesn’t even include any XP boosts, double XP events, or your XP gained from winning matches. You can clearly see how by doing this simple method you can easily complete the Battle Pass for free.
One pro-tip: don’t forget to use your free re-rolls on daily missions that don’t align with your playstyle, deck, or preferred Parallel.
Pay attention the faction logo circled above as sometimes the daily missions only align with a specific Parallel. So you may not make any progress if you’re not playing as that Parallel. The Parallel logo means that it is a Universal mission and applies to all 5 factions.
Bounties
Bounties are mini-quests within the game that reward you with 500XP, or an AP pack, or a Premium AP Pack. These are instantly refilled upon completion, so they make for great goals to complete your AP deck or finishing the Battle Pass faster.
Ethereal Shard Bonus
Need a little XP boost to help your progression? During the month’s battle pass you’ll be rewarded with an Ethereal Shard. When you activate this shard, from your Keyframe, you’ll gain an additional 30% XP from your wins over the next 8 hours of real-time (not game time). These are consumable meaning once activated and used, they will be forever destroyed.
5. Crafting Cards and Scraps
Parallel has included a mechanic where you can destroy your excess apparition cards. With excess meaning: more than 3 for non-Legendary cards and more than 1 for Legendary cards. The result of this destruction, or recycling rather, is called Scraps. It’s an in-game asset that then allows you to craft cards of which you do not own or desire additional copies of. This is a great way to build your wish list of cards allowing you to build a competitive deck for the Ranked Ladder.
You’ll earn Scrap by destroying and spend Scrap by crafting. The rates at which you do so depend on the rarity of the card destroyed or crafted. The figures are as follows:
How to Scrap
- When in the game client, go to Collection > Cards and then you’ll see a button near the top-right that says Gain Scraps.
- Click Gain Scraps
- You’ll be meet with a confirmation screen that displays how much Scrap you will be earning, click Continue
- Congrats you now have Scrap and can craft additional cards! 😎
How to Craft
- When in the game client, go to Collection > Cards
- Search, filter, or find the card you’d like to Craft
- Once found, left or right-click the card. A new left-hand menu will appear
- Click the Crafting tab at the top of that menu.
- Click the Craft button below the card to open the confirmation page. A reminder that Legendary Cards can’t have more than 1 AP copy.
- Click Craft on the Confirmation page to create your new AP copy.
6. Tournaments and Rewards
Okay, so you’re off and to the races! You’re making great progress in your collection and performing well on the ranked ladder. You need a challenge and you need to be incentivized! Well look no further because the team at Parallel has already launched an in-game Tournament feature.
Now we won’t go over all of the details, eligibility, and rules in this guide, but please know this - you can enter Open Tournaments for FREE and earn up to 3 AP packs, a cosmetic Title, and a Standard Tournament Entry Ticket (which gives even more valuable rewards).

So you can see how Parallel makes it incredibly easy and efficient for players who spend a little time each day to play the game to complete their card collection. No hoops, no catches. Play the game, earn the cards. With all of the tips and methods mentioned in this guide, you’ll have a large collection and your most desired meta deck to grind with in no time!
